This section of Hood River - East Fork in Hood River County is 7.5 miles long and it is classified as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. The wonderful Oregon scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Hood River - East Fork have people coming here. The starting point is not too far from Hood River, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Dee to bridge Below Tucker Park section is just one of them. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if
you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Oregon are often more challenging than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that
