of the Central Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. This stretch of Hood River - West Fork in Hood River County is 6.5 miles long and it is classified as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater.
There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
