Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. The White Bridge Park to East Fork Hood River stretch is one of many
paddling stretches in this river system. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily
run it on an afternoon. The put-in location is a short drive from Hood River, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The beautiful scenery of Oregon and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. When you're paddling down a Central Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too.
