The river winds through the Southern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. The campgrounds here at Jackson Creek are pretty good. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. The Cover Camp to FS 31 section is
one of a few paddling sections in this river system. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. The nearby hotels are a bit away from
the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. The beautiful scenery of Douglas County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here.
