CLASS II-III 69 miles
The nature scenery of Oregon and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Oregon is often tougher than elsewhere, so keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. This is one of a
small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. Now this is a pretty long section, so make sure you pack enough food along with your camping gear. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night,
and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other spots.
