The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The beautiful scenery of Tillamook County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are     sure to keep you coming back for more. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. The beauty of the Coast Ranges is a great plus for this river. The Headwaters to Wilson River section is the only paddling section along Jordan Creek. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. Highs during the winter are frequently in the   50's, and nighttime lows at Jordan Creek during the wintertime commonly dip into the 30's.
