This stretch of Jordan Creek in Oregon is 6.5 miles long and has been rated as a class III+(IV) section by American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Tillamook County and the water flowing gracefully down Jordan Creek are reasons enough to come here and paddle. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. Jordan Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Headwaters to Wilson River stretch is the only one. Not
too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This stretch is mid length, good for a one day paddling trip. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking,
either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. The average Oregon whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The wild scenery of the Coast Ranges is great.
