You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.     you won't find many other paddling spots. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the JC Boyle Dam to Powerhouse
section is one of them. The JC Boyle Dam to Powerhouse section of Klamath River in Klamath County is 5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV+ section. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby.

An average amount of rain falls at Klamath River; December is the month that gets the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. Through the summer here at Klamath River, high temperatures usually get into the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the
