by American Whitewater. You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the JC Boyle Powerhouse to Copco Reservoir section is one of them. The nearby hotels are a bit away from
the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a pretty small number of paddling places. Whitewater paddling here in the Southern Cascade Range is a great experience.
