The wonderful Oregon scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. This
stretch is mid length, it's good length for a morning trip. This stretch of Lake Creek is 5.5 miles long and it is classified as a class II-IV section by American Whitewater. The river winds through the Coast Ranges and you get great scenery. There are no other sections to paddle
along Lake Creek than the Deadwood Creek to Siuslaw River section. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
Briefly about the general area: Don't leave Lake Creek without first paying a visit to The Horn. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Creek
