Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. There's camping available near Little River. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay     the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Whitewater paddling here in the Central Cascade Range is a great experience. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. There are no other sections to paddle along Little River than the FS Road 165 to White Creek Campground section. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. Briefly about the general area: The Red Butte Trail offers hiking at its best; Little River is right by the Mott Trail. So many entertaining things in the Central Cascade Range, just inspiring. Little River gets a great deal of water; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. The warmest time of   the year brings highs in the 80's to Little River. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Little River tend to be in the 30's.
