The beautiful scenery of Oregon and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way
in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The starting location is a short drive from Eugene-Springfield,
if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too.
