Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Oregon is often tougher than elsewhere, so keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. The nature scenery of Oregon and the water flowing gracefully down Mollala River - North Fork have people coming here. Whitewater paddling here in the Central Cascade Range is a great experience. There are a few other stretches in
this river system that can be paddled as well. The Dead Horse Canyon Creek Bridge to Mollola River stretch of Mollala River - North Fork in Clackamas County is 6 miles long and has been rated as a class V section by American Whitewater. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to
drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. This stretch has has enough mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby.
