The put-in location is a short drive from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The nature scenery of Clackamas County and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. This stretch of Mollala River - North Fork in Oregon is 6 miles long and it is classified as a class V section by American Whitewater. When you're paddling down a Central Cascade Range river like this one you always get great
scenery along the way too. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This stretch is mid length, it's good length for a morning trip. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state
tend to be more challenging than the national average, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere.
