This stretch of Mollala River - South Fork in Clackamas County is 6.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III-IV section. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The Copper Creek to Molalla River section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. The
    rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so better not forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive
a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. The beauty of the Central Cascade Range is a great plus for this river.

Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Mud Springs is an inspiring location to have a look at while here, and going for a hike on the Pine Crest Trail is always a delightful adventure.

For the duration of the months of summer here at Mollala River - South Fork, high temperatures usually reach the 70's; the overnight is rather chillier of course, typically in the 50's.
