The Copper Creek to Molalla River stretch of Mollala River - South Fork in Clackamas County is 6.5 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III-IV section. The nature scenery of Clackamas County and the water flowing gracefully down Mollala River - South Fork beats anything. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night,
and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to
master in this state than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good places for that around here. When you're paddling down a Central Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too.

with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Mud Springs, and you can go for a hike on the Pine Crest Trail. All year is a pleasant time in the Central Cascade Range if you like the outdoors.
