CLASS III-IV 7.9 miles
I think that it is great and exciting Says Jackie
This section of Nestucca River in Oregon is 7.9 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Oregon and the cool fresh water beats anything. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. When you're paddling down a Coast Ranges river like this one you always get great scenery
along the way too. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are some
good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Rocky Bend Camp to Blaine stretch is one of them. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Oregon is often tougher than elsewhere, so don't forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere.
