The Rocky Bend Camp to Blaine section of Nestucca River in Oregon is 7.9 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The beauty
of the Coast Ranges is a great plus for this river. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Rocky Bend Camp to Blaine section is one of them. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. For all you camping people there
are campgrounds nearby. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy.
