The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not     for beginners. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. The beautiful scenery of Tillamook County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good places. The Blaine to Hebo stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. The wild scenery of the Coast Ranges is great. Briefly about the general area: Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Nestucca River with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Nestucca River. Davidson Spring is a great local attraction.
