This section of Owyhee River in -blank- County is 65 miles long and it is classified as a class III+(V+) section by American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of -blank- County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Oregon are often tougher than in other states, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. |

Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this
| area has a pretty small number of paddling places. A section like this is is of course not run in a single day, so better bring your camping gear along. The campgrounds here at Owyhee River are pretty good.

It's always brilliant to take a look at Tudor Warm Springs, and Warm Springs Canyon is absolutely a good spot to pop by. Owyhee River gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest.
