The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. There's camping available near Owyhee River. There are so many sections to paddle in this river system, the Garat Crossing to Three Forks section is just one of many. There aren’t any hotels
    right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a pretty small number of paddling places.
Now this is a pretty long section, so better bring your camping gear along.

The surroundings of this river have so much to offer. You need to stop by Military Grade since you're here at Owyhee River, and Owyhee River is in close proximity to Warm Springs Canyon which is beyond doubt worth visiting.
During the long summer days here at Owyhee River, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's while night lows are typically in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's
 
overnight here at Owyhee River. Owyhee River is pretty dry regularly; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. A cool spot to have a look at next to Owyhee River is Three Forks Rim; Tudor Warm Springs is an inspiring place to visit during your stay.
