Briefly about the general area: Don't leave Quartz Creek without first going for a hike along the Pernot Trail, and glorious hiking is available along the Fall Creek Trail. Through the summertime months highs here at Quartz Creek reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For
the period of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Quartz Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Central Cascade Range. All the water falling down from the sky makes Quartz Creek a wet place; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is July.
