Briefly about the general area: During the warm days of summer at Quartzville Creek highs are usually in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Quartzville Creek temperatures   dip to the 30's. The high level of rainfall makes Quartzville Creek a quite wet site; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month of the year is July.
