The nature scenery of Lane County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. Don't leave Salt Creek without first   checking out Monteith Rock, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bunchgrass Trail. This is such a wonderful river. Summertime highs at Salt Creek typically tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Salt Creek.
