If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Oregon you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The beauty of the Central Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. This stretch     has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The Marmot Dam to Revenue Bridge section is one of many paddling sections in this river system. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more.
