The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Oregon are often tougher than in other states, so keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good rivers for that around here. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better     reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. Whitewater paddling here in the Central Cascade Range is a great experience. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby.
