This section of Siletz River in Lincoln County is 10.8 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III-IV section. The beautiful Coast Ranges scenery is an added bonus. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book     a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so why not pack your camp stove too. Siletz River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Elk Creek to Moonshine Park stretch is the only one. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more.
