This is a short paddling stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. This section of Silver Creek is 2 miles long and has been rated as a class V+ section by American Whitewater. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places. Silver Creek regularly gets much rain; the month of December is the wettest with   most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Silver Creek. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Silver Creek.
