The Silver Falls State Park to Silver Creek Reservoir stretch of Silver Creek in Oregon is 8 miles long and is a class IV(V) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay     the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
