The beautiful scenery of Oregon and the water flowing gracefully down Steamboat Creek beats anything. The City Creek to Steamboat Falls stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This stretch of Steamboat Creek is 9.5 miles long and is according
to American Whitewater a class II+(IV) section of whitewater. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. And of course, there are campgrounds
