The beautiful scenery of Oregon and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Albany-Lebanon, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. On this section you do get some distance, good for a one day paddling trip. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. The campgrounds here at Thomas Creek are pretty good. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that.
The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Oregon are often more challenging than in other states, so better not forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back
