If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Briefly about the general area: You're sure to encounter some nice people from Tillamook here. Munson Creek State Park is a great site. For the period of the summer at Trask River highs
are usually in the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 50's; night lows all through the winter for Trask River tend to be in the 30's.
