When you're paddling down a Coast Ranges river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. The nature scenery of Washington County and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. Since
you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up
quick. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby.
