This stretch of Umpqua River - North in Douglas County is 25.5 miles long and is a class III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so pack your camp stove. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay
