The natural beauty of Oregon and the water flowing gracefully down Umpqua River - North are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The put-in is not too far from Roseburg, as you can see on the road map further down. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this     state are not easy. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
