If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. The beautiful scenery of Oregon and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might     end up sleeping in your car. This river system is full of great paddling stretches, the Campbell Falls to Three C Rock stretch is just one of them. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. The wild scenery of the Southern Cascade Range is great. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so why not pack your camp stove too. Take a hike on the Freezeout Trail; hiking along the Straight Creek Trail is brilliant fun.
