The put-in location is a short drive from Albany-Lebanon, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Oregon is often more difficult than elsewhere, so don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. The campgrounds here at Wiley Creek are pretty good. There are no other stretches to paddle along Wiley     Creek than the Above Wiley Creek Gorge to Little Wiley Creek Confluence stretch. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. The river winds through the Central Cascade Range and you get great scenery. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's good length for a morning trip. The scenic beauty of Oregon and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. Briefly about the general area: Wiley Creek gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; July meanwhile is   the driest month. High temperatures at Wiley Creek all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows at Wiley Creek throughout the winter ordinarily descend into the 30's.
