The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A     good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The Central Cascade Range scenery is wonderful. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Dexter Dam to confluence with Coast Fork Willamette stretch is one of them. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so why not pack your camp stove too.
