The nature scenery of Oregon and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Whitewater paddling here in the Coast Ranges is a great experience. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This is a short paddling stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling
places. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. The West fork North Fork confluence to Jones Creek Bridge on Wilson stretch of Wilson River - North Fork is 3.8 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III section. Getting
a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners.
