If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.     The campgrounds here at Babb Creek are pretty good. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. There are no other sections to paddle along Babb Creek than the Lick Run to Pine Creek section. Briefly about the general area: The annual precipitation here at Babb Creek is about average; June is when you get the most rain here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Going for a hike on the Williams Trail is always a good adventure, and needless to say, A trip to Slide Hollow is always fun. If you   come to this river you will have a good time for sure. Go for a hike on the Tannery Hill Trail. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Babb Creek reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Babb Creek overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. Devils Elbow is an attention-grabbing thing to spot while you're here at Babb Creek, and a day on the slopes of Ski Sawmill is just what you need.
