  The wonderful Pennsylvania scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Beaver Creek have people coming here. The put-in is not too far from Morgantown, as you can see on the road map further down. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Pennsylvania tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections in this state are pretty easy. Getting your paddling muscles activated and
    just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great
campgrounds nearby. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This stretch has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The LR 26023 to confluence with Meadow Run stretch of Beaver Creek in Pennsylvania is 4 miles long and has been rated as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater. The LR 26023 to confluence with  
Meadow Run section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system.

Briefly about the general area:
Go for a hike on the Great Gorge Trail; you're sure to come across some great people from Ohiopyle here. Don't leave Beaver Creek without first going for a hike along the Mile Trail. Beaver Creek is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation. Of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Summertime at Beaver Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's.
