Pennsylvania whitewater - Bermudian Creek, Adams / York County Adams / York county, Pennsylvania Route 94 to Conewago Creek section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.   CLASS I-II     13.1 miles   The beautiful scenery of Adams / York County and the water flowing gracefully down Bermudian Creek are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This stretch of Bermudian Creek is 13.1 miles long and it is classified as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. The starting point is not too far from Harrisburg-Carlisle, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Pennsylvania you might find the rivers here a     bit more manageable, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. The Pennsylvania Route 94 to Conewago Creek section is the only paddling section along Bermudian Creek. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. Briefly about the general area: Bermudian Creek gets a normal amount of precipitation; of all the months in   a year May is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The warmest time of the year at Bermudian Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Bermudian Creek dip into the 10's.
