The T379 to Licking Creek section of Big Cove Creek in Pennsylvania is 12 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-III section. The scenic beauty of Fulton County and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. You can enjoy this section more if you take your     time, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good rivers for that around here. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This is the only paddling section along Big Cove Creek. Briefly about the general area: During the days of summer at Big Cove Creek highs are mostly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's, and   nighttime lows in the 10's for Big Cove Creek.
