This section of Black Creek is 6.6 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II-IV section. The put-in is not too far from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. The nature scenery of Pennsylvania and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. This stretch is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip.
