CLASS II-III 6.2 miles
definitely a beautiful area! great for those just entering the sport OR for some time to chill. similar in difficulty to middle yough but no duldrums, well, there are just less noticeable because of the beauty and not quite as dull (or long). Says barb
markleton to fort hill is an absolutely beautiful section of river. i highly recommend it but i may be biased since i own some property on the river. very remote except near the bridges where you'll find a few houses. other than that, you have the railroad and the recently opened bike trail. a curse
and a blessing. Says rick
