The wonderful Lancaster/ Dauphin County scenery and the water flowing gracefully     down Conewago Creek - East attract people from near and far. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon trip. The Aberdeen Mills to Hillsdale Road stretch is the only paddling stretch along Conewago Creek - East. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Pennsylvania are often easier than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here.
