If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Pennsylvania you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The wonderful Pennsylvania scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Deer Creek beats anything. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. This is a very short stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch.
