The starting location is a short drive from Burlington-South Burlington. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one,
    but if you donít have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The beautiful scenery of Pennsylvania and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. This section of
Deer Creek in Clearfield County is 1.4 miles long and has been rated as a class II section by American Whitewater. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling spots. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well.
