Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip. There     are no other stretches to paddle along Harveys Creek than the SR 1059 to Susquehanna River stretch. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
