On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. This stretch of Jacobs Creek is 4.5 miles long and is a class III-IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll
find lots of paddling places. The Acme to Laurelville section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that
rivers here are less demanding. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
