The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Lewistown, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The Reedsville to Juniata River stretch of Kishacoquillas Creek is 7 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-III section of whitewater. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you won't find a large number of other spots. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the     great campgrounds nearby. This stretch has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. This is the only paddling stretch along Kishacoquillas Creek. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so better not forget that many runs in this state are very easy. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. Briefly about the general area: Hiking along the Footbridge Trail is delightful fun, and close by Mann Narrows is a good place to go.
