The put-in location is a short drive from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton, as you can see on the road map further down. The natural beauty of Pennsylvania and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This section of Lehigh River in Pennsylvania is 82.1 miles long and it is classified as a class I-III section by American Whitewater. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling places. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Whitewater
rafting and kayaking spots in Pennsylvania are easier than the national norm, so you'd better keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Pennsylvania Route 435 to Canal Park Allentown section is just
