Cambria
county,
South Fork to Johnstown section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS II 10.2 miles
Ran this river for the first time today thinking it would be a gentle paddle. WARNING. It is NOT class II. There are many boulders and ledges. Swift current in high water. Hazardous thirty-foot waterfall right after a sharp bend to the left...with no warning. I banged my kayak up really bad taking the fall and nearly died. BE CAUTIOUS. Says
