This stretch of Loyalsock Creek in Sullivan County is 13 miles long and it is classified as a class I-IV section by American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Pennsylvania and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll     find a large number of good rivers. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that lots of rivers here are good for beginners.
