The scenic beauty of Pennsylvania and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This section is quite short so better bring some good walking shoes. This is the only paddling section along Marsh Creek. If you're coming from Gettysburg it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. No matter     if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. If you'll be staying in a hotel you're in luck, lodging is available very near the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
