The Lower Mill Creek section of Mill Creek - Allegheny R. Tributary is 2.75 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II(III) section. The campgrounds here at Mill Creek - Allegheny R. Tributary are pretty good. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good places. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river,     and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This section is quite short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Oil City, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. This is the only paddling section along Mill Creek - Allegheny R. Tributary. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more.
