This section of Miners Run in Pennsylvania is 1 miles long and is a class IV-V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states,     so better not forget that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. Miners Run doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Gorge section is the only one. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good places for that around here. This is an extremely short stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. A wonderful place to take a look at in the vicinity of Miners Run is Fourth Bottom Hollow, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Old Loggers Path.
